The creative approach

From a spark
to a photograph.

01 / Imagine

Start with what moves you.

A color, a favorite piece of clothing, a film still, or a feeling you can’t quite put into words. We begin with a conversation and shape a visual direction that gives your idea room to grow.

02 / Create

Make room for expression.

Wardrobe, setting, and light work together to support the concept. There is room to try things, move differently, and discover something unexpected along the way.

03 / Remember

Let the photographs speak.

The finished collection brings the story together through expression, atmosphere, and thoughtful image selection. Each session is a chance to see a familiar face in a new way.

03 / TFP collaborations

Your presence.
Our next idea.

For models who want to create, experiment, and build something together.

TFP means “time for pictures”: a creative exchange where we contribute our time and ideas in return for photographs. It is a collaboration without a modeling fee, planned around a shared concept and a clear understanding of what each person receives.

If you have some modeling experience and take direction well, tell me what inspires you and the work you would like to create. You don’t need a fully formed concept to introduce yourself. A strong reference, an interesting wardrobe idea, or an openness to trying something new can be a wonderful starting point.

10 unedited pictures

Delivered through a private gallery. Selection, image format, delivery date, and the agreed concept are confirmed together before the shoot. Unedited pictures are selected images; camera RAW files are not included unless separately agreed.

Models must be 18 or older, have some modeling experience, and be able to take direction well. Applications are reviewed for creative fit and do not guarantee a shoot. Travel, wardrobe, hair and makeup, and any other costs must be discussed and agreed in advance.

Before we shoot

Clear terms.
Shared understanding.

A good collaboration starts with everyone knowing the plan. Review the TFP model release before your session. It outlines the image exchange, portfolio use, credit, and the details we agree on together.

The release is separate from the application. Download it, review the session details with Krysti, and complete and sign it before the shoot. Keep a copy for your records.

A few things to know

Before you apply.

Do I need modeling experience?

Yes. Some modeling experience is required, along with the ability to take direction well. Please share your experience and a portfolio or Instagram link so I can get a feel for your work. Selection also depends on the fit between the model, concept, and current creative plans.

What do I receive from a TFP session?

You receive 3 edited pictures and 10 unedited pictures through a private gallery. The selected images, format, and delivery date are agreed before the shoot. Camera RAW files are not included unless separately agreed.

Can I share the pictures?

The release allows you to share the delivered pictures in your own portfolio, on your personal website, and on social media, with credit to Krysti Hennessey / Fashion Hopeful Pix. Commercial advertising, resale, and third-party licensing require a separate written agreement.

What should I include in my application?

Your location, availability, experience, and a little about what you would like to create. A portfolio or Instagram link is helpful if you have one. You can also share wardrobe ideas, visual references, questions, and boundaries.

Does applying reserve a shoot?

No. Applying starts a conversation. A session is confirmed only after we agree on the concept, date, location, image delivery, and release. You will review and sign the release separately.
